|The project will prepare a corpus of all published inscriptions from Roman Tripolitania, building on IRT 2009 and adding some 200 further texts. Every entry will have a Unique identifier, and a link to the Heritage Gazetteer of Libya; there will also be a full up-to-date epigraphic bibliography, and translations (at least into English) of the new texts.
We will offer the opportunity to other scholars to contribute data during the preparation of the corpus, but we will not undertake commentary. The corpus will be prepared in EFES, in parallel to the Inscriptions of Roman Cyrenaica 2020, in order to create a stable resource which is simple to maintain.
